Yorkville

Yorkville Sound is a privately owned Canadian Company located in Pickering, Ontario, Canada, a suburb of Toronto. Currently employing over 200 people, Yorkville designs and manufactures all of its North American built products at the 150,000 square foot Pickering facility.

Currently Yorkville Sound manufactures a full line of professional PA products including mixers, amplifiers, active and passive loudspeaker cabinets and portable lighting rigs, at their Pickering facility. Yorkville Sound also designs and manufactures a complete line of Canadian made tube and solid state instrument amplifiers under the Traynor brand for Canada, the US and export markets.

In addition to the design, manufacturing and distribution of its own brands, Yorkville Sound also has a very active resale distribution division. Currently Yorkville is the North American distributor for Aston Microphones, HK Audio, and Hughes & Kettner guitar amplifiers, along with Granite Percussion products, Denver Guitars, Orion FX Lighting and Rouge Valley Bags.

Yorkville Sound wholly owns Applied Research and Technology (ART). ART develops, manufactures and distributes preamps, signal processors, studio tools and microphones under the ART and ARTcessories brands.

In Canada, Yorkville Sound is the exclusive distributor for Gibson & Epiphone Guitars, a relationship that dates back to the 1980's. The full exclusive Canadian Distribution catalog covers a spectrum of world class music brands including: Gold Tone, Samson Audio & Wireless, Hartke, Mapex Drums, Dynaudio, Leho Ukuleles, Link Audio, Los Cabos Drumsticks, LR Baggs, Ernie Ball Strings, Rotosound Strings, Snark Tuners, TrueTone Pedals, GrooveTech CruzTools, Kluson, Kramer and Steinberger Guitars, The Rockslide, KRK Monitors, as well as Gallien-Krueger Amplifiers. Yorkville's YSLPro division has Canadian distribution rights for Universal Audio, Manley, Royer, Rupert Neve Designs, Softube, Townsend Labs, Cranbourne Audio, Modal Electronics, and many sought-after studio and broadcast solutions.

Yorkville Sound carries a full line of microphones, headphones and accessories available domestically and for export under their own Apex Electronics brand as well as a full catalog of instrument cases and bags, cables, stands and accessories.
