Combining classic styling with modern features, the Peavey Composer Mandolin features a mahogany body and neck with a solid spruce top and rosewood fingerboard. The Composer mandolin features Peavey's exclusive Powerplate, an innovative new technology that increases sustain and virtually eliminates dead spots on the fretboard. The Powerplate is mounted using the machine heads and increases the amount of string vibration energy projected by the instrument.
