Junior Camps

"Experience the Joy of Music"

Connors Music's Junior Music Camp is ahands-on, interactive and fun filled way for kids to get excited about music.

Students will learn the fundamentals of music, like melody, harmony, rhythm, dynamics, and scales in a group environment that gets reinforced with outdoor games and fun activities.

Students will also learn about different musical instruments and how they work. Suggested ages are 5 to 8. No previous music experience is required. Musical instruments will be provided.

Intermediate Rock N' Jam Camps

"Are you ready to rock?"

Students at the Connors Music Rock n' Jam Camp will be immersed in an atmosphere that teachers all the components of successfully playing in a band.

The camp covers a wide range of topics like:

• improvisational soloing
• developing good rhythmic structure
• and learning how to take your band from the garage to the stage!

An emphasis is put on playing with respect for one another in the group environment and learning to organize your rehearsal time for better results.

Suggested ages are 10 to 14. At least 3 months of registration at Connors Music is required.

Songwiter's Retreat

"A Chance to Create"

Connors Music's Songwriter's Retreat is a chance to step away from the hustle of life and really draw yourself into songwriting. Seminars that focus on musical concepts, lyrical techniques and basic home recording are mixed in with sessions for inspiration and creation.

Suggested ages are 14 and up. Located at Eaglewood Camp, Pefferlaw.

Summer Lesson Programs

Private and group lessons continue throughout July and August with preformance opportunities in the community. Also, this is a great chance to get involved in our summer recording projects.
